イーハトーヴォは今日の中にある

僕が制作した「今日のための電子変奏曲集」は、今日を少し良くするために在るアルバムです。

過去でも未来でもなく、「今日」のためのアルバムを作りました。

例えば陽が昇り、陽が暮れる。これらの要素は人の活動の始まりと終わりを表す不変的な物事だけど、その間には朝起きることの気持ちよさや、のんびり散歩したりといった何気ない日常がある。 この何気ない日常は「ありきたりな時間を過ごしている」と思うけど、この時間は二度と来ない。

つまり「今日という日は尊くて儚い」と気づきがありました。 この気付きを音楽に昇華したい思いのもと、「今日を少しでも良くする音楽」をコンセプトに制作しました。

素敵な物事という存在は見逃しているだけで、今日の中にも、今の眼の前にもあるはずです。

ちなみに今、僕が見えている素敵な物事は、スマートフォンの充電が67%もあることです。 大抵、この時間(22時)は30%かそれ以下なので、普段の2倍以上も余裕があります。 これはまさしく素敵な物事だと思うのです。

そんな小さな素敵な物事を音楽で表現しました。

繊細な表現に思えますが、小さな物事こそ努力して手繰り寄せないと手に入らないと僕は思います。

例えば、面倒でもスマートフォンに充電ケーブルを差すとか。ちょっとした努力で素敵な物事は手に入るのです。

The “Variations on Electronica for Today” that I created is an album designed to make today a little better.

It’s not about the past or the future but about creating an album for “today.”

For instance, the sun rises, and the sun sets. These elements represent the beginnings and endings of human activities, but in between, there are everyday, seemingly mundane experiences, like the pleasure of waking up in the morning or leisurely strolling. This everyday life may seem like “spending ordinary time,” but this time will never come again.

In other words, I realized that “today is precious and fleeting.” With the desire to transform this realization into music, I created it with the concept of “music to make today a little better.”

Wonderful things are often overlooked; they can be found within today, right in front of our eyes.

By the way, right now, the wonderful thing I can see is that my smartphone’s battery is at 67%. Usually, at this time (10 PM), it’s around 30% or even lower, so I have more than twice the usual battery life. I consider this to be truly wonderful.

I expressed such small, wonderful things through music.

It may seem like a delicate expression, but I believe that we must make an effort to attain even the smallest wonderful things.

For example, plugging in a charging cable for your smartphone, even if it’s a bit of a hassle. Wonderful things can be obtained with a little effort.
